We sense that there is more to life than the story of separation tells us. That we are separate individuals competing with each other.
We have more bacteria in our bodies than we have human cells. So even deep down on a biological level, the concept of the individual falls. It's just an inaccurate perception of reality. So the question that drives our society "what's in it for me?" is nothing but a mental illness.
This is what I was taught by exploring beautiful Bialowieza, the last primeval forest in Europe.
