A 405lb hex-bar deadlift is not impressive.
A 405lb hex-bar deadlift 6 weeks after total hip replacement after taking a redeye flight from a trade show and coaching a grueling 2 hour workout with a college wrestling team is pretty cool to me.
I’m already better than before surgery, wasn’t even able to do hex-bar deadlifts prior, and getting better and stronger daily.
Some muscle atrophy did occur, but I’m not crying over it. Movement is way more important.
Gonna try sprints this week!
