We have Catholic schools, at both the high school and college level, that have lost their faith somewhere along the way. The secularization of Catholic schools has been something deeply troubling within the church. And it mostly seems that our leadership just sits back and watches it happen. But occasionally in church history, a member of the hierarchy will fight back. Here are six occasions in which a Catholic school pushed the envelope a little too far, and their bishop revoked their Catholic status.
