I was not paid to make this video. All opinions are my own. I recently got to fly with TacAero, an elite flight school in the Texas Hill Country. I did backcountry training with them a while ago, but they also just opened up a seaplane program that can be completed in about 3 days. I got to fly with them in their Top Cub on amphibious floats and see where they are doing their training, and it absolutely blew my mind how much fun we had. You wouldn't normally think of Texas as the place to get your seaplane rating, but after this video, hopefully your mind is changed.
In this video I share some reasons I think that everyone should get their seaplane rating at some point. It's an absolute blast and will make you a better pilot!
