CROVSEYED is the 2nd entry in the musical half of the Etceteraverse, a story about animals, humans, dragons, AI, and gods traversing every axis of dimensionality to keep their universes in check. Crov is a position among the Drek, a lustrous feathered dinosaur race living in the ethereal clouds around their gas giant. The roles of the position are simple. Take care of the temple, listen and communicate concepts to the neighboring universes, write down what they learn, and teach wandering travelers in their own.
The current Crov is the former scribe of their planet's leader, a Jay named Zius-Pitxir, or Sky-Feather, named for their iridescent colors resemblance to the passing night and day. Though the decision puts them in a position of mostly isolation, it became a good excuse to avoid the stigma around their desire not to marry. After almost 2 years of their stay in the temple, they understand the multiversal significance of their role.
