Fire Emblem is full of interesting, unique and fun mechanics. Permadeath, the weapon triangle, forging, these have all stood the test of time. And while these are all cornerstones or at the very least integral to the series, there's a mechanic that flopped so hard that shouldn't have made it out of beta. These are six of some of the most questionable or downright horrible mechanics Fire Emblem has ever implemented, which thankfully never made it into more than one or two games.
