This crochet baby blanket is designed with Bernat Blanket yarn and is a fast and easy pattern perfect for beginners.

I made up this stitch to imitate the classic granny stripe blankets and reduced the gaps to make a warm, squishy crochet baby blanket.

This crochet blanket for beginners is a joy to make and uses 3 colors. You DO NOT FASTEN OFF AFTER EVERY ROW. You just carry the yarn along the side of your blanket. Once you add the border all the side strands get concealed. Easy Peasy!
