Our 24-song compilation of fan Animal Crossing music begins with the day starting at 6 AM! I'm trying to take it in a direction that leans toward the more classic Animal Crossing soundscapes, but takes all the games' soundtracks into account as inspiration.

Picture the sun just starting to rise in the east along a misty orange horizon, painting the water's surface with early-morning flecks of sunshine. This rendition of Animal Crossing sees you moving back to the mainland after spending time with the Island Getaway package, in a sort of sequel to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. So this view of the sea would be a little look back at where you've been, while the sun rising from it beckons a new beginning!

But then it transitions into the theme for Lavender Towns claim to fame, the Pokémon Tower. While the town is known for creepy, off-kilter Ghost-type Pokémon, theres also an air of lamentation over Pokémon that have passed, especially in the graveyard within the tower. So I made the music a bit wistful and macabre, and I included some Pokémon calls that you would hear there. Finally, I infused some Javanese gamelan into the melody. Ive fond memories of playing in a gamelan ensemble, and these melodies seemed to lend themselves to the style! Thanks for listening!$
