Alexandria Mason was pulled over around 7:30 p.m. in a McDonald’s parking lot in St. Augustine. Deputies discovered Mason had an active felony warrant from another county during the stop. Mason, who refused to comply, took off immediately after realizing deputies were going to arrest her. Mason allegedly fled and led deputies on a nearly 30-mile chase with speeds exceeding 120mph. After Mason crossed into nearby Duval County the Florida Highway Patrol joined in the chase ultimately ending with a successful PIT maneuver. Mason was handed a laundry list of charges from the incident. She later pleaded guilty to DUI, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and possession of a controlled substance. She was sentenced to 10 months in jail and 12 months of probation. Mason still faces remaining charges in two other Florida counties.

Douglas County probate judge Christina Peterson allegedly got into an altercation with an officer while he was trying to de-escalate a situation between security and a female outside the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge. She told one of her friends to “record, please,” as if body-worn cameras did not already record the entire incident. Her attorney, Marvin Arrington Jr., characterizes the situation as a good deed gone wrong, questioning why the other person involved wasn't arrested while she was.
The 38-year-old refused to tell officers her name. “I want to get booked,” she said. "I'll be in here with Young Thug and Woody." At one point, she was given the option of providing her name or getting back into the police cruiser until she did, to which she responded, “Good luck” and got back into the car.
