FluffyFeathers 2022-03-13 | I deeply apolgize for not uploading for a month, I attented a convention one weekend, was sick the next weekend, and then I had tech week and performances for my school's production

I hope to upload more soon, especially as we near spring and spring break and then later, summer vacation

This is a speedpaint of Sigma from Bungo Stray Dogs, he's only of my favorite characters and I'm so excited to see him animated in season 4! He's so fun to draw, his outfit and hair are amazing (along with like every other bsd character) and I hope to do another drawing soon that really highlights just how cool his vest looks.
The song is the closing of Bungo Stray Dogs season 1, I literally love this song so much along with the opening. But I played the opening for my Akutagawa speedpaint back in December so for this speedapint I decided to do the closing.

Tomorrow I'm planning on doing a live-stream Q and A, I was originally doing a regular video for my Q and A but I decided it would be better do just do a livestream since that worked really well the last time (also I just didn't get enough questions so the video was only like 6 minutes)

i remember being really proud when i origially made the piece so i wanyed to redraw it.. though too be honest im not too proud of the redraw because i rarely draw cats, especially Warrior cats characters, but you can still see improvement!
i got rid of the background cats just because i feel like they took away from the focus of the drawing, but maybe ill include them if i decide to redraw this again

okay so like
ive been having a lot of trouble but i will explain everythingggg

so during winter break i finished my animation reel, christmas special, all that crap and i was just kinda okay im done and i took a break from like making stuff i could upload and i worked on other things like editing MAP credits and doing personal projects
but then i was like oh i legit havent done a map part in like a month and it's kinda demotivating me because i really enjoy doing map parts and i hadn't done one in so long so i took two and got REALLY motivated and excited

and then mental/emtional stuff happened that first week i came back to school from winter break which i won't get into because its personal but it just made doing stuff really hard and then i missed one day ONE DAY of school and i so much make up work?? like jesus christ
and it's not just the make up work but like.. all my teachers were like yep let's pound on the work load! i mean i kinda understand because the semester ends next week but good god
BUT WAIT THERES MORE! my editing program decided it just straight up didn't want to work with me when i went to edit this thing and holy crap like editing is already stressful, next map part im going to try to use a different method of editing so it might be better? anyways if you notice any sort of editing mistake or something looks wonky please im sorry my editing program failed me

OH ALSO i am literally in LOVE with this fight scene it is so cool!! i'm collecting the manga right now i took this part legit right after reading it in the manga i love Akutagawa and Margaret so much they are god tier characters, Nathaniel is cool he just wasn't my favorite I'm not a big fan of religious characters because im not religious at all so it's hard for me to relate but Nathaniel and Margaret had a cute friendship/relationship idk going on and im sad we didnt really get to see too much of them? Margaret's ability is like.. so cool and she only uses it twice! wasted potentional :') so is Nathaniel's power?? especially when he uses it during the Cannablism arc where he's like flying???
anyways all the bsd fight scenes slap and i wanna do map parts for all of the characters and fight scenes and everything i literally can't stop thinking about this series
i don't mean to rant so much in the description but like.. i dont have any friends who have watched all of bsd and most haven't started or won't watch it so i rant into the void

Akutagawa Speedpaint | Bungo Stray Dogs

FluffyFeathers 2021-12-15 | okay so this drawing was never going to be a speedpaint but i was so happy with the sketch that i was like screw it we're doing an Akutagawa speedpaint and holy crap im literally so proud of this

for those unaware, Akutagawa is my favorite Bungo Stray Dogs character and i could talk about him for hours but for the sake of anybody reading this im just going to talk a bit about the speedpaint
half of the speedpaint was literally just me struggling with the shading and drawing Rashomon but im so happy with how it turned out
Akutagawa is honestly one of my favorite characters to draw and Rashomon was a ton of fun to draw as well, the way i did it in this speedpaint was obviously different from how i drew it in Revolution but Revolution had a set palette so i couldnt bust out a ton of colors to use
anyways this entire speedpaint was just a ton of fun and i hope you guys enjoyed watching it, it was also EXTREMELY long and thats why the speedpaint is like 7 something minutes (i sped it up so much...)

so i literally have nothing to say about any of the MAP part and characters themselves because if this is a fandom im not in it? Eeveekat just asked me to collab and we've never collabed before so obviously said of course

i had a lot of fun editing this MAP part because i got to do greenscreen for the first time and it worked BEAUTIFULLY. i also had a lot of fun with the cut off especially because that is literally my current mood im trying so hard to get at least a handful more of uploads out before the end of 2021 because i didnt upload much this year which if you guys want id love to make a video discussing my inactivity throughout the first over-half of 2021 and why ive become more active now.
sometimes Kunikida is a mood but maybe im just a stressed out mom friend

my biggest problem right now is that i have to juggle making a good christmas special and more minor uploads and an animation reel! to be honest it's kind of a nightmare and sadly my christmas break starts like super late

i had a large iced coffee while finishing this so im literally shaking writing the description, this is why i rarely have heavily caffinated beverages

okay so this map part was FUN like so fun to make i just loved the colors and the shading and backgrounds aarghghgh i love drawing the bungo stray dogs characters too
Kyouka and Akutagawa are some of my favorites to draw, if you look through my sketchbook literally every page has either one of them. they’re also two of my favorite characters so i guess that makes sense lol. though Akutagawa looked a little boring this map part cause his color scheme is all black with a little white which is just so hard for palette maps (i clearly didnt learn my lesson from revolution, and honestly i never will prepare yourselves for more map parts with Akutagawa in them)

anyways Kyouka is like an amazing character and when i first heard this song for the map call i immediately thought of her. the two first shots i knew right away what i was going to do but it was really hard to come up with the last shots, eventually i settled for Akutagawa on the phone ordering Demon Snow to kill some peeps and then showing Kyouka on the phone as Demon Snow appeared. I WISH PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT KYOUKA MORE like seriously!! i LOVE characters like Akutagawa, Chuuya, Dazai, etc. etc. but can we please talk about Kyouka more :’) shes a really cool character

also christmas is coming up soon so uh keep an eye out for a christmas special even though i actually do not know what im doing, though by the time this video is uploaded ill hopefully have something because i finished this map part and wrote this description a week from the day it is uploaded, so the day it has been uploaded should be two weeks from christmas?

so i talked a bit about this MAP part in the WIP video but basically to sum it up, I had a lot of fun doing this MAP part

I don't know if anybody noticed this but i used a textured brush because i think it's very pretty and i feel like this MAP part was like,, the perfect MAP part to do it for
i also had a lot of fun with using a lot of bright colors, for my last MAP part which was for revolution I literally had to use like all the darkest colors from that palette
oh yeah i dont think ive ever actually drawn any tbhk characters with like color n stuff, ive definitely drawn the characters in my sketchbook but generally those are quicker doodles so i dont go in a color them

Thanksgiving WIPs | Good For You, Anklebiters!, Blame it on the Kids

FluffyFeathers 2021-11-25 | I am lazy because I didn't feel like going out of my way to make a Thanksgiving special so I'm just gonna show off WIPs for MAP parts I'm working on.
I mean, it does kind of fit because something I'm grateful for is getting to do art and share it with you all!

I'm hoping to have at least one of these parts done by this weekend, probably either Good For You or Anklebiters!
I'm going to try to stick to uploading once a week but that's not always super realistic for me so I'm mostly trying to at least uploading once every two weeks.

For Good For You I don't really know who the characters are so I cant discuss anything? Eeveekat just asked me to collab and I got the storyboard and did most of my bit. The only things that need to get done are backgrounds and editing.

Okay! For Anklebiters! I'm really excited about this one. This is my first Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun MAP part and it's just so fun. I love the show/manga's art style and character designs. I've only done line-art and colored Nene at the moment but already I'm having such a good time. I did a textured line-art to match the very colorful and cutesy style of tbhk. It's really cool to try out different kind of pens to do line-art and I could literally talk about how fun coloring is for this MAP part for hours.

Lastly, Blame it on the Kids. The first time I heard the song my brain just went "Kyouka". Though let's be real it could fit so many other characters I love. I just also wanted to do a MAP part with Kyouka because honestly people do not talk about her enough. She's one of my favorite bsd characters and it makes me so sad that people don't talk about her as much. It's early in process of me making this MAP part, but I'm already having a lot of fun. I did a quick reference of Kyouka with the color palette and it's making me so excited to color the MAP part. The palette is soo pretty aa
Also I know the storyboard is really messy, I'm going to clean it up soon I just wanted to get this WIP video out. It's the MAP part that is due the latest so I'm focusing on the MAP parts due first like Good For You and Anklebiters! anyways this is my first Bungo Stray Dogs MAP part which is super fun, i actually have had this part since the beginning of October but i couldn't come up with an idea for it and then i watched Bungo Stray Dogs and that's when a MAP part idea (and a crippling obsession) was born

woo! first frame-by-frame human map part. well, human-ish cause these characters are demons... anyways

i was really hoping on getting this done before halloween a ton of personal stuff came up and i ended up not having a lot of time, energy, or motivation

also i had this map part idea in mind with the thought that season 2 of demon slayer would be the entertainment district but LEGIT like 2 or 3 days after i took the part it got announced that the first half of season 2 would be the mugen train arc (which im not complaining, i love the mugen train arc so much and Rengoku's episode was just so amazing)
if i had known, i probably would've picked one of my other favorite demons like Rui or Enmu but its okay because i love Daki and Gyotaro
though their designs were so much more complicated than i had expected so i had to simplify the designs down a ton, i love their designs but holy crap haha

i have one more map part that i'll be doing and then im going to focus on getting done maps, though ill also try to take a few more map parts before the year ends so i have stuff to add to my 2021 animation reel lol

one last thing! my reason for doing the editing like that was to mimic the Infinity Castle, i hope that was kinda clear but since i didnt actually draw the doors and stuff it might not have been. i wasnt planning on drawing the doors i just wanted to have something that mimiced the movment and the fast-paced disorienting vibe of the Infinity Castle itself

since i finished that revolution redo last week, i really had no map parts to do so i decided to take one in sleepwalker just to help move it along. im honestly now sure when it's going to get finished, im very sorry. im hoping to get it done before it hits the 2 year mark but we'll have to see

also wow it's been a bit since ive drawn cats, i honestly enjoy drawing humans more despite it taking me a lot longer to draw them. so this map part was quite interesting! i rarely draw cats in my freetime anymore so the last time i really drew cats was a month ago for Revolution Part 17 (which has since been redone and is now human-ified)
it wasnt hard, it was just kinda weird cause i wasnt used to it!

if you're wondering if i cried making this map part, yes. i did cry. what are you gonna do about it.

sooo i wasnt exactly proud of my original part 17 because this part is pretty intense and climatic so i wanted to do something.. a little more intense and climatic,, so i picked the Rengoku vs. Akaza fight scene from Mugen Train!
when i first took part 17 i was planning on a more intense scene in Avatar: The Last Airbender but i just could not figure out how to storyboard it so i picked another random scene in it (with Zuko ofc cause he's my fav) but it just.. didn't turn out good! i promise ill do a good A:TLA MAP part soon!!

(im gonna be discussing Mugen Train spoilers right here!)

OKAY i literally watched Mugen Train for the first 2 months ago and I still have not recovered from Regnoku's death. ive cried too many times over him i swear to god! and i love Mugen Train so much and i rewatch it all the time but holy crap i cry everytime :')
because i need to let out my sadness some more i decided i wanted to draw the scene in a map part cause art is a way to express ur emotions and i realized this part pretty much fit it!
there are a few minor scenes i couldnt fit in this map part (Rengoku flame breathing, Rengoku being impaled, Akaza getting away) so im sorry about that!!
for those of you who havent spoken to me like twice, Rengoku is my favorite character i literally never shut up about him but he's amazing so i do not care :)

so like, three main things
- I GOT A NEW DRAWING PROGRAM!! thats why it looks so different, i use Clip Studio Paint now and it's so amazing i highly recommend it!! Paint Tool Sai served me well but i like Clip Studio Paint much better
- i draw a lot of humans now woo! i mean i have for awhile but now i draw more humans than cats so thats fun. im still not the best at it but im trying to get better!! i have a lot of drawings ive done but i forgot to record a speedpaint for them :') forgive me. anyways expect to see more content with human drawings instead of cats!!
- ive never done anything related to avatar: the last airbender before on my channel! (mostly because i never watched it til a friend smacked me and said YOU HAVE TO WATCH AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER so i did and it was great i cried way too many times) Ty Lee isnt my favorite character but i do love her lots and she's so fun to draw because she just has the cutest design!! also expect to see more a:tla content on my channel (as well as some other stuff im into)

id also like to note that after the MAPs im hosting are completed i probably won't post anymore warriors content. not that i hate warriors and that ill never take a warriors map part ever again, theres just other stuff i enjoy more! (like, avatar the last airbender haha)

I wanted to do this because 1) I love Beetlejuice and doing the speedpaint last year was a lot of fun 2) I wanted to see how much I improved and 3) I couldn't think of or have the time to do anything else :') but we're not gonna talk about that!

I really don't have a ton to say but I'm really proud of how this turned out except for all the editing.. it's not supposed to be 1920 x 1080 and i guess my editing program decided it didn't like that -_-
But I'm really proud of everything else which is why I decided to just upload it. I've been trying to improve on backgrounds so tell me what you think! If you have any advice for me when it comes to backgrounds (or just,, in general XD) I'd really appreciate! Just.. don't be super harsh or anything please!

I haven't been super busy but most of my map parts are fully animated so they take awhile but hopefully I'll have Bury A Friend done soon. I might have to do a speedpaint or a little animatic just to have something uploaded. Ideas are welcome!

I've been working really hard to get this MAP part done and honestly I'm very happy with how it turned out! I hope you like it!

Honestly I don't have a ton to say, everything going on has just been little things with like two big things?? One of the big things I'm gonna wait to make an announcement for soon as I said earlier in the description!

Now that this is done I only have one more MAP part to complete and after that I'm going to be taking a step back from MAP parts and YouTube in general to
1. get the maps im hosting done
2. do/upload stuff to youtube that aren't map parts (speedpaints, animation memes, pmvs, etc)
3. do drawings, animations, etc on my own that I want to do just for myself or that i need to do for something else
4. practice on improving my art
5. lessen to the amount of stress i have so i can just like vibe ya know XD

hope you guys understand, the break probably won't be obvious since ill probably be uploading finished maps and simple stuff like a speedpaint or small animation practice or an animaion meme or an animatic. might have a map part or two throughout the break but nothing crazy

I've been kinda stressed lately just with everything that's going on but today I'm feeling.. a bit better. This weekend I want to try to live stream (with my voice! last night I updated my music playlist so yay!) and make sure Faded is ready. I want to premiere it on June 12th, the one year anniversary of it being uploaded!

For the livestream this weekend I don't think I'll work on MAP parts, I just kind of want to doodle and chat with you guys. I miss talking to you guys through livestreams so much! I might take some requests too during the livestream, I'll have to see.

Okay, I know I said I probably wouldn't be uploading but I guess cause yesterday I finished a MAP part so I had a burst of motivation.. Okay so, I have like one more big project that's coming up soon then school will almost be done! So I'll have more time but it'll be a bit before my next upload because of the project!

(I ramble a ton in the description, just a warning)

So, I'm going to be talking about this quarantine and if you feel like you'll get more stressed/upset etc feel free to not read it it's cool I understand. I get upset when i see people making videos reminding everybody just how terrible the world is rn when I just need a distraction.
rn that distraction is musicals, especially Heathers XD. Legit musicals are distracting me better than art (except when im drawing musical characters). Yesterday i drew human JD and today I drew me and 3 of my online friends as Veronica and the Heathers. so uh heh

So, I'm not a really 'social' person. I'm definitely more of a introvert than an extrovert but I really miss socializing with people especially with my lovely friends, and one of them is in this video they've been in a map part before. We Facetime and zoom and stuff but it's not the same and I miss them so much.
I haven't been streaming or finishing a lot of stuff just because of how like sad I've been that I can't socialize and online school and everything it's too stressful so I'm really sorry if you miss my streams, I just right now can't just because of everything making me so stressed.

Guys please, stay inside. You've heard it a thousand times and you'll hear it again, we need to quarantine so things can get back to normal or, mostly normal. I miss getting to do all the things I would have been doing if not for this, so please if you care enough to listen to me, stay inside and support those on the front lines. Some people who I'm really close too are on the front lines which is really stressful for me too

Ok I think I need to address a couple.. uhh a lot of things. I'll do things in order of which they "occured"

Golden: So, when I uploaded golden you may or may not have realized I had nothing for a description besides the information and MAP call. So.. I was just having a really bad day but I wanted to get something done and Golden was closest to be finished and I decided to upload it. If you know what's wrong, then you know. If you don't, it's not a big deal I'm over the part of it that affects me

Beetlejuice Speedpaints: If you're wondering if I'm going to continue them, yes I still will. I've just been focusing on other things and I'll get back to doing them soon, I promise

Livestream: I apologize for not livestreaming Saturday, that was the day we put together Six Feet Apart like, that morning we were like "let's do this" and by early afternoon we uploaded it so there was just no time. I'll try to livestream sometime this week before Saturday

Faded: If you got the notification for Faded's premiere, I apologize. It was like 8:30 pm and I had to redo a ton of stuff due to reasons I won't mention atm but it stressed me out to the point where I was literally panicking. I was breathing faster, I had butterflies in my stomach, I was tired, and I felt like a failure. So I just decided to wait then I took a shower and went to bed. Please.. I'm okay now I feel fine Faded will be uploaded sometime in the future.

1-Year Channel Anniversary: Yes, my 1-Year Channel Anniversary is in 2 weeks. I know what I'll be doing to celebrate and I hope you all will enjoy it! I really think you will :3

I'm sorry I was a day late, I was really busy with school work as I said in my MAP part yesterday. One of the assignments took me 2 hours to do, maybe more. But I promise I won't let Ready Set (Reprise) be a day late. I don't want to do that you to you guys again

I ended up being really proud of this! Hopefully I can do really well for future ones, I personally think I have some pretty spicy ideas that are all currently stored in a big old sketchbook.
As you can see, attempt #1 of Adam didn't work out but attempt #2 did much better and I'm glad I just redid it.

My MAP part for Home should be out sometime this week, I don't have too much more to do and whatever I have left to do should not take me that long.
Though I'll also be working on these speedpaints, editing MAPs, HOSTING MAPS, so we'll just have to see how long it takes me XD
