Part 2 of the Shop Wall Cabinet project --- designed for adaptability, ease of construction, strength, good looks, and maximization of space. These cabinets will help in your implementation of 5S!
In part 2 the notches, rabbets, and grooves are made and the steps explain how to do this quickly and accurately. Safety tips are given throughout. By the end of this video, the cabinets are almost ready for glue-up.
Tired of trying to make things fit into standard-size wall cabinets? This design lets you adapt the cabinet size to fit what is being stored!
The 5S compliant Shop Wall Cabinet can be easily modified to any depth, height, or width! Perfect for custom storage in the woodworking shop, crafting/sewing/quilting room, garage, basement or even in the kitchen. Easy to build from plywood and hardwood lumber of your choice.
Features:
- French cleat mounting (easy to move as needs change)
- Engineered for strength
- Simple changes to the basic parts cut list and the unit can be built any size
- Dress it up or keep it simple, it will look good either way
