A brand new 5G “small cell” tower is going up across from the Orange County Admin Bldg where we held the Re Open FL rallies. There are now over 50 small cells around downtown Orlando and more recently they started adding the 5G mechanism to the towers, which are those white pieces sticking out near the top.

It’s not just the radiation / health concerns that we need to be aware of and vocal about, but also the privacy and surveillance concerns that come with 5G technology. The public has been told this is about better cell phone service and faster downloads but in reality it’s much deeper than that. These new towers will not only be emitting radiation but also collecting information around the clock. There will be no opting out.

The 5G network is a platform for a system in which every action, transaction and interaction we have in our daily life is monitored, databased and analyzed in real time.

The goal is to connect every single device, product and vehicle to the “Internet of Things”. Once complete, driverless cars, cell phones, your garbage can, refrigerator and your latest Amazon package will be connected to these new towers on every street corner. Every object you own will be a SMART object communicating data about you, your movement and your activities in real time. Appliance usage, transaction information and personal information will be collected and stored. Big tech, the NSA and hackers will be able to watch through your ring camera, listen through your dishwasher and know what time you start your coffee in the morning.

If the technocrats get their way, the most advanced, Orwellian, surveillance grid where everything is tracked and monitored will be the new norm. Privacy will be a thing of the past.
