[No Longer You Speedpaint] EPIC THE MUSICAL Starblast14 🇵🇸 2025-01-26 | Okay first Epic content! Even though I haven't been there from the start, when I start listening to the Epic musical somewhere when the Thunder saga came out, I fell absolutely in love with it! I loved the songs, characters, and the story that Jorge Rivera-Herrans was able to tell with it! ^^ So I finally got the courage to do a speedpaint of one of the songs "No Longer You", especially with added contexts with one of the new songs "Odysseus" (song slaps by the way)! I might change post 7 years Ody's design, though I'm pretty comfortable and satisfied with his post Trogan War one. Hopefully I'll be able to do more of these in the future, because not only I love the musical, also I want to get better drawing humans, especially when I draw animals all the time (especially cats). For future content, I'll try to push out the Heart of Jewel PMV before, later of March? I don't know but I'll start working on it again to increase my creative motivation. [Hermit the Frog Barkstreak and Flowerblossom Mini PMV] WC OCs Starblast14 🇵🇸 2025-01-09 | Yeah if a certain character you're making project of has screw up your health in some shape or form while working on it, take it as a sign to step away from them lol. Not that I hate Barkstreak, but after basically forcing myself to complete this PMV for the sake of having content (same thing with the "Like Him Meme", I decided that it's time to just, move on from this character for a long while. If I do come back to this, I think it'll be more centered around his best friend Flowerblossom (yellow tabby molly) dealing with his problematic tendencies that comes up when stressed, genuinely got my interest more than Barkstreak, but I think I'm going to start focusing on the characters I'm actually passionate about again. So I won't only be more motivated to finish the projects they're in, but also be proud and satisfied once the end product comes around. That'll be my goal for this year, as well as trying to be more active! ✨🔥What's happening- So this PMV centers around Barkstreak and his best friend Flowerblossom, who he used to have a rather close relationship with! But the past would always cloud his mind time-to-time, to his evil mother Sirreka who was force to leave him as a kit, his emotionally neglectful father Fallstar who stops looking after and raising him and moon later, causing Barkstreak to feel unloved and develops a "everyman for himself" mindset, to his own decisions that he'll forever regret from leaving his pregnant kittypet mate Mary behind, and scarring his own son Acorn, who will be later known as "Scar". So because of this, especially after he harmed Acorn, Barkstreak became more abusive to his close ones, mostly with harsh verbal insults, but in rare occasions becomes physical. This is seen here as Barkstreak in his "monster" form striking Flowerblossom, but was able to catch in due to her reflects. Obviously scared, betrayed, and most of all confused, she snaps at the cat she supposed to trust the most, and leaves him afterwards. This is semi-canon to what I actually thought up, as this is just a short idea, but when I think of their interactions realistically as to how I wrote them, it's actually worse and Flowerblossom develops a stronger and complex reaction then to what's shown here. [Like Him Barkstreak Animation Meme] WC OCs Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-11-28 | You guys have no idea how much I've time crunched this to get this out today. ;-; ANYWAY when I heard this song going around as I trend, not only I thought it's fitting for a potential meme for one of my main Heart of Jewel character Shatter for future reasons, I thought it fitted with Barkstreak as well after having a random fixation of his family tree! xD While I haven't intentional wrote his ancestors this way, I realized that they all have something in common: They end up betraying and hurting the ones who love them the most for their own goals or desires. So, this being a generational curse isn't so far off! It's also nice to draw Scar, again, haven't drawn him in a MINUTE!! To the video, it centers around Barkstreak falling into the curse that's been plaguing his family, one that started with his ancestor Lightningstar, where he was punished by StarClan for refusing to choose between his leadership, and the family he had with a kittypet. So, in one way or another, the cats in Lightningstar's line had been faced with some type of betrayal by someone they love dearly that would end up effecting their kits one way or the other. The only one of these cats who isn't really bad is Thomas, who's Mudfoot's kit and Lightningstar's grandson. Depending how much people are interested, I'll probably go in depth on each of these cat's lives and how this curse affected them growing, but for now I'm going to discuss what's going on in the video. So Barkstreak eventually finds out about the curse he's in and soon becomes paranoid that he might follow into their paws of being a monster, more specifically like his mother Sirreka. His mother used to be ThunderClan's deputy with the warrior name "Oakflower", who got kicked out of her rouge group during leaf-bare by her own mother Raven for failing her test. But as she grew tired and irritated of some cats judging her for being a former rouge, which only increase when those same cats begin to look down on her son Barkkit. In response Oakflower decided to get their respect by force by killing their leader Duststar and take the leadership. This plan ends up failing and Oakflower is exiled, forever known as the traitor who would dishonor and abandon her mate and kit for a selfish desire. After some series of unfortunate events, Barkstreak ends up violently turning away his kittypet son Acorn who wants to be with him, who would later become Scar. This decision made his mental state begins to worsen and becomes a bit more, rash and short-tempered than usually. While this does drive away some of his friends, he often rationalizes himself that he's not like his mother or his ancestors, that he's loyal to ThunderClan to the end and will not let anyone get in the way in that. What he doesn't realize is that the dark energy is already flowing in him, ever since he broke up with his kittypet mate Mary in order to assume loyalty to ThunderClan. It's a decision he regretted, but can't take back. It's only a matter of time when something will release all the pent-up anger and sorrow that's been store in his body, perhaps realizing that your son murdered your ex will be enough to push you to the edge...The final fight that occurred between Barkstreak and Scar was pretty intense, and if I have some time I MIGHT go more in depth with it, don't hold me to that. ^^'Hope you like it! ^^Original- Can't pinpoint the original, but if y'all know who please tell me! What's happeningScene 1- Barkstreak struggling with the fact that he might be similar to not only his mother, but his ancestors, as well as the darkness that has been consuming him more and more. Scene 2- Raven is facing off her daughter Sirreka, "Oak" back then, to see if she's worthy of become a defender, but Oak ends up failing do to not being a skill enough fighter and was kicked out in leaf-bare. When in ThunderClan, becoming fed up with being judge by some cats, Oakflower attempt to murder Duststar to become leader herself. Moons later, after Barkstreak turn Scar away and the latter wants to seek revenge, he faces off his son in battle that the latter had started. But after Scar slipped that he already killed Mary, his mother, Scar would quickly realize that Barkstreak wouldn't be so easy to take down with his awaken rage. Scene 3- As Barkstreak begins to become more consumed by his grief, regret, and rage, he lets out that he won't become a monster if he kills his son, especially after he received a prophecy that Scar will unleased terror onto the lake, while Scar insist that he won't be as terrible and cruel as his father was and is becoming. Ironically enough, they become more similar than they would ever realize, both after the confrontation, and before they even met. [Rock it Fake MAP part] OCs Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-11-12 | Picked up an old fake MAP part I was doing before and decided to both refined and finish it! It's definitely more slow paced compared to the other MAP parts I've done, but it's still pretty relaxing and to work on that won't take long to complete! Also used the opportunity to practice on the cats' shadows in a bright environment like the Airy Meadow, where the sun usually shines on them the most! So, all four of them are basically "wanderers". They never settled into one place that long and go wherever the wind takes them! This causes Summer and Charlie's horizon to expand as they discover different places throughout Paraphoria, but remained socially sheltered from the world as well as they never really interact with any cats. They all mostly venture from the Airy Meadows to the Purple Woods, as the latter location has berries to pick from compared to the former. (Some cats do eat other food other than prey)Hope you like it!! ^^What's happening- Gus and Donna bathing in the sun of the Airy Meadows while their kits Summer and Charlie are play-fighting each other. Next the family is in the Purple Woods, while Gus and teaching Summer how to harvest berries for herself (she likes berries more than prey before, and is currently a vegetarian), Donna is teaching Charlie how to hunt his own prey! Then as everyone is taking a nap back in the Airy Meadows, Summer just appreciates the family she has. [Peppermint Summer and Charlie Animation Meme] OCs Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-10-20 | I'm pretty sure I been working on this for like, two months!? Finally relieved that I was able to push myself to finish this animation meme, especially when it's been a long while since I done one of these, and it's nice to focus on Shatter's two friends Summer and Charlie instead of the main character for once! ✨️✨️✨️ (Their designs are simpler than his xD)Though I will admit, this might be one of my most unplanned and rush projects I ever done. :' ) Both due to poor decision-making (trying to make a 30 second AMV even though I don't know how to properly animate yet *cough*) and something fumbling my plans to upload content, I made this completely on the whim because I genuinely want to try to be more active now. I took a LOT of shortcuts to speed the process of this project, and it probably shows. Now that artfight is done, I can get back to work on my personal projects such as a PMV/Limited animation that serves as an introduction, kind of like Mama's Boy. ✨️✨️ At first it was going to be animated, but I realized that it's going to take WAY too long, and I'm probably pushing my limitations a little bit. [Forest Fake MAP part] WARRIOR CATS OCS Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-07-01 | Finally got this one done, been working on this for nearly two months. ;-; Definitely tried to experience some new things such as perspectives and using a combination of shading/lighting to set the environment and make the characters blend in. With this I'm pretty satisfied with how this look all together!I'll admit I'm not really, too proud of this one as I am with the others editing-wise. Mostly because of the mistakes I noticed and realizing that I really need to change some of the ways I make the parts I tween with, especially when the characters are smaller. :' ) I was also starting to lose motivation with this after working on this for a while and want to put more focus on artfight this year, and another project that I'm working on; since I'm doing this for myself, I'm not as upset for kind of rushing this out as I would be if doing this for a host. [Quiet Quiet Palette MAP part 10] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-05-24 | Finished another palette MAP part! ^^ To be honest I had fun with this one, and in the end I'm pretty proud with the results! So this is basically about Sparrowwind as an apprentice, along with his longtime friends Owlpaw/chime and Dovepaw/whisper. They have grown up together since they were kits and became even closer when Whistlepaw/breeze had left them for ShadowClan for whatever reason, Owlpaw and Dovepaw's brother, and Sparrowpaw's best friend. [2024 Outro Animation] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2024-04-20 | I was starting to get tired of the old outro animation I made, even though I still love it. So I decided to make something different with a score I always liked, "Quiet Forest" from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, as well as make it similar to the theme. [Mamas Boy Cindy and Shatter Meme] OCs Starblast14 🇵🇸 2023-11-06 | An animation meme I did on an impulse and took nearly two months to get it completed due to motivation and schoolwork. :') Anyway, it's a nice experience to do this animation meme, as I think it's something different from what I usually do. Thought, if anyone have recommendation of how to use songs without getting copyright, please let me know because getting these are pretty annoying-Basically, this video is mostly based on the prologue I did, which I re-written a bit. Long story short Shatter is a kit who was raised by a loving and caring mother, Cindy. They would do everything together; their favorite activity is gazing at the stars. But unfortunately, it was not meant to last as when he was five moons old and went outside for a bit at midnight, Cindy was murdered by a mysterious tom in the shadows. Also, neat fact, when cats die and come in the real world as ghost, their spirits become fire-like, radiating warmth from their bodies. [Unbreakable Bond Broken Speedpaint] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2023-02-19 | Making a speedpaint takes way more time then I thought...Anyway, decided to make one in order to stay somewhat more active here! I was planning to post this at Valentine's Day, but the subject is not fitting so I decided against it. Basically, some of you probably know Barkstreak and Mary. Barkstreak is a ThunderClan warrior and Mary's a kittypet. They fell in love with each other and would often meet somewhere at the Twolegsplace. While this is happening the deputy, Swoopwing, died and Fallstar needs someone to replace him. He choose Barkstreak. Barkstreak was happy to become the deputy of ThunderClan, but that would mean he have to break up with his kittypet mate so he could stick with the code. What makes this even harder is that Mary was expecting his kits when he met her for the very last time, excited to raise them together. When Barkstreak breaks the news to her she was obvious ticked, saying she never wanted to see him again. They're both siblings from different litters, with Charlie being three moons older than her. Summer is energetic and impulsive, but won't do anything that would put the cats she cares about in danger. Charlie is optimistic and carefree, usually mess around and has pride of being "the leader" of the group, but knows when to get serious and protective towards those who are weaker than him. But since it's been awhile this *might* be a little messy, so yeah. ^^'Anyways, I drew this because I want to show off Starry's new design! Her ears are now pale yellow and white instead of dark violet and white, and took away the pale yellow from her tail because eventually it gets frustrating to draw. : / Other than that her design is still the same, keeping the pfp a bit longer because November is coming up, and in that month I usually draw a fall themed one. So for a long while I've been calling her a "magical cat"...about time to give her some magic. xD Basically, she can produce star-dust from her white paw that can make her fly, but the catch is that she could only do this at night because it's easier to camouflage in the sky than the day-time or sunset; and if she got her white paw covered up by something it'll render her useless. Search up song that you're using to see if there's an already existing MAP. If no, continue.2. If yes, do something original or different to set apart from the original MAP. Doing fake MAP parts can be fun and something to fill in the gap when doing bigger projects, but what I personally don't agree with is people doing it for projects that already exist and didn't get a part. Use it to experiment and do something creative! ^^ Now with that out of the way, I've finally most/fully animated something ever since "Insanity"!! :D Shockingly while it's time-consuming it's not nearly as hard as I thought, and I would love to try more animation in the future! For the story of these two love birds! Cindy is a kindhearted cat who is now a wanderer, and just left the group she kind of grew up in after a falling out with someone close to her. Copper, is more confident, impulsive, and rather thinks highly of himself. One day his lack of self-awareness made him fall off of a mini cliff and scrape his pelt from rocks. This is where they cross paths. Cindy sees the tom, licking the wound of his pelt. Knowing he'll just infect it she quietly but determinedly steps in and offers to help him. Due to his stubbornness Copper refuse her, but seeing that Cindy isn't leaving, flicking her gaze to the wound and back he gives in. As Cindy treats him Copper quickly falls in love with the molly's softness and empathy towards everyone. After spending time with him Cindy slowly warms up and get used to Copper's brashness and over-self confidence, and finds herself falling for him as well, happy to have his kit, Shatter! [Mentor and Apprentice Speedpaint] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2021-02-06 | I'll probably go back to doing speedpaints again cause not only it's easy to create it can also be fun! :D Both school and, my PC keep shutting down unexpectingly and making me lose EVERYTHING and have to start over, really demotivated me into doing MAP parts or videos, but I'm trying to get my MAP parts done and my other projects so thanks for your patience! ALSO VICTORY FOR MY SPEEDPAINT NOT BEING HIGHER THAN 7 MINUTES HECK YEAH!!Anyway, what happened is that Barkpaw (black and dark brown tom with green eyes) become upset when his father, Fallstar, berates him for going to the Twolegsplace and FIGHTED A DOG to save a molly kittypet. Barkpaw spats that Fallstar never loved him and run away to the hills in ThunderClan territory. His mentor, Stormecho (siamese tom) went after him and talks him, and Barkpaw reveals to his mentor what's bothering him. Due to lonliness and his father not paying attention to him anymore (StarClan told him after Fallstar got his nine lives that because of Barkpaw's future choices he might be part of then cause of the Clan's destruction) he resolves that no one loves him except his friends, Treepaw and Rosepaw. Stormecho comforts Barkpaw and told him that once he begins to open up again (he's very quiet) he'll see that cats do care about him and that Stormecho cares for him as well. Rather Sleep Scar OC Meme (Warning- Blood) Starblast14 🇵🇸 2020-11-24 | Hi guys! I'm still alive! xD I went on a break from Twitter to get away from all it's craziness...and it took awhile to gain back my motivation, but now I got it! :D Thank you for everyone who stayed with me for so long!And yes I'm still trying animation! : ) Ever since the Insanity MAP part I feel encourage to keep on going and trying new things. The lipsycing is a bit slow but...fits with the song I guess. ^^'ANYway, here's the meme! This meme looks easy and fun to do, and it WAS!! I have a blast doing this! I'm working on another meme too that's half way done so keep your eyes out! ; ) This is about Scar, one of my oldest OCs. Since I have no idea when I'm going to get his story done on wattpad (Have no motivation) I'll explain here what happened in the meme. Pre-meme- Scar was once "Acorn", a kittypet. He lived with his brother, Watermelon and his mother, Mary. Mary kind of neglected him or, just love Watermelon more because Acorn reminded her too much of her former mate, Barkstreak, who left for reasons you'll soon figure out. Though he never showed it most of the time, this bothers Acorn. But luckily his brother always loved him and was close to him, and for now it's enough for Acorn until he became curious about his father. So he set off to the Clan territory to find him until he did. Barkstreak refuse to acknowledge his son and tell him to leave, but Acorn won't listen to anyone so he insist on staying. Barkstreak, desperate at this point to get rid of him before the patrol come and figure out what's going on, picks him up and toss him away from the territory and into the lake. (I know a cat's not strong enough to do that but...for the sake of this old story let's just pretend he is :P) When he recover from the stress he realize what he could've solve the situation WAY better and end up regretting it, but BOY karma's coming for him. Meme- So Acorn's being yeeted into the lake, so as the beginning of the meme he's pretty broken and believes that no one loved him. (He kind of forgotten about Watermelon in this point : () So then a mysterious ghost came and convince this lad that his parents deserve to pay for what they done to him. Acorn hesitates at first, but then decided "Heck yeah, why SHOULDN'T I get revenge?" So Acorn rips his collar off and change his name to "Scar." His first victim was Mary. He bring and rabbit and led the dogs to her, and basically watch her be mauled by them. Then he killed Barkstreak in a battled he cause by slicing his throat to stomach. Then after he got his revenge he wonders what he'll do next since he's addicted to killing cats without feel no remorse whatsoever. So then, from the help from the ghost, he decided to make ScarClan, a clan of evil rouge will join together and drive the Clans out of the lake. One of the cats who joined was Talonwing, who wasn't evil, but wants to be with his friend. But leaves because he realize what Scar's become, and not the kittypet he first met. (Will get more into that later) Watermelon heard this rumor and think it's nonsense, and decides to find Scar himself. So when he finds his brother he confronts him saying like "Hey, what is this? You're not a killer." Scar then defends himself, saying that his parents MADE him this way, and that no one ever loved him before. And that's when Watermelon SNAP! In tears, he yells at his brother that cats loved him, that he wasn't ever alone. That HE was always there for him NO MATTER WHAT, and that he don't NEED his parents love because he already got friends and a mate, Talonwing, Shadeclaw (Who I didn't include in the video) and Ambernight (Who he was mates with when he went to ShadowClan, he joined there both because so he'll be more closer to Barkstreak, and he wants to know more about Clan life, but because he choose power over her they broke up). Scar became speechless and doesn't know what to say, and Watermelon storms off. This take awhile to get over because like I said, they're VERY close. But when he got over he was blinded by rage. He trains his warriors to first attack WindClan to be their allies, and then they train some more, blah blah blah, and NOW the big battle! A lot of cats died, but he then faced Ambernight, his former mate. Ambernight, realizing that this madness have to end and don't want to see more cats die in his paws...was force to kill him. The battle was over when Ambernight struck the killing blow and everyone welcome her as a hero, but she didn't accept it and became depress for a long while, knowing she killed the cat she was in love with, even if it was for the better. : (Wow! [Insanity part 6] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2020-10-10 | HHHHHH FINALLY!!! I did a animated MAP part for the first time! (For real this time) So if it looks kind of wonky and bad that's why. ;-; Any critique is open! ^^ So, this is a OC Warrior Cat story called "Eye of the Scar". I might not finished the story since I'm kind of wading off from the fandom and wanted to think of more original stories but these OCs hold very dear to me since it's one of my oldest developed stories, so I can't really let go of these so easily! xDHope you like it! ^^MAP Call-youtu.be/gS1GHpKkJ7ECharacters- Barkstreak, Scar, Flowerblossom, FoxstarWhat's happening- So Scar cornered Barkstreak to get revenge of abandoning him, Barkstreak is freaking out cause....you would probably be scared if someone who kills a lot of cats is about to kill you too. Scar basically rips out his stomach, and he soon dies. His best friend and father, Flowerblossom and Foxstar, rush towards the scene and is obviously upset about his death. While Scar just watch and flexing on himself for being such a bad boy. : )
[Sadness runs through him part 7] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2020-10-03 | I know it's not much right now but I got something interesting coming up too! ; ) I also got snowflakes falling down but...I'm guessing it kind of blend into the white. Who's Thistle. : ) Her parents abandon her, but not before they teach her how to take care of herself. So she found a shelter in a barn once, but than she lost it. (I'll get more detailed someday but not now) So now she's basically alone now. : (
[Bye Bye Bye part 5] Starblast14 🇵🇸 2020-09-12 | Here we go! My MAP part uploaded! :D I'm sorry I'm late but I'll probably now change my uploading schedule to two weeks after I uploaded. I still want my channel to e active when school starts but I also want to focus more on my stories that I've started and written. I wanted them to be finished since I enjoy writing too as well as making videos to my Youtube channel.This is my Wattpad, where I'll be doing my stories in! (You'll see why) He pretty much live a kind of lonely life as kit/apprentice-hood since he has no littermates, his mother disappeared so he has no memory of her, and his father Fallstar ignores him as soon as he became leader as you see at 0:03. (Because of a prophecy he recieved that involves with his son) So he has his love interest, Mary. She's a kittypet that helps him through his problems and Barkstreak is really grateful of that.
