PPS-CF UN-ANNEALED VS ANNEALED ON IDOZ | EDGE OF 3D EDGE OF 3D 2025-03-01 | IZOD Testing Polymaker PPS-CF samples.I captured some slow-mo of both Unannealed (As Printed) and Annealed for comparison. In this IDOD (Impact) testing the annealed parts do not fare as well in the strecth department. PPS-CF is no good with respect to any kind of "shock" anyway, annealing them lowers their strength IN THIS SCENARIO ONLY.My IZON machine is built to use a scale of 0 to 100 with 0 representing the lowest impact strength and 100 being the highest impact strength. For this test I ran 3 samples of each with the "as printed" unannealed averaging a 24 and annealed averaging 22.25. FIRST HEAT SET TEST | EDGE OF 3D EDGE OF 3D 2025-01-21 | First try testing heat set inserts.Not sure if this is a fail or not. Fiberon PPS-CF10 Failure | EDGE OF 3D EDGE OF 3D 2024-08-13 | Failure point of unannealed Fiberon PPS-CF10 in Voron Gantry test fixture.Parts were printed at Voron Standard, 345°C Hot End, 85°C Bed.Testing:Parts were clamped into test rig to simulate a toolhead on a printer.
