btloov 2023-01-07 | Happy late Birthday Merezone!! It took a while to be able to finish this, so this comes a little late, but I hope that's ok! This year the footage choice was pretty easy not gonna lie. Though you probably(?) won't know the song. I just came across it at some point and it fit to Heartstopper so well I really wanted to use it! Hopefully you'll like it too.

From the start I really wanted to use both the series and the comic. Turns out the comic parts were a bit more of work than I originally thought. I didn't need to mask the characters out so I though it would make it much more less work, but not really. But yeahh in the end it worked out ok! Just took a little bit more extra time. But yeah I hope you like this!

btloov 2022-10-04 | The fact that I managed to actually finish this project is a achievement itself, it's also very rare that I edit to a song that means very much to me. I have listened to this song a lot during this year. I don't usually edit to songs I hold the most dear, because I have too high expectations or I don't wanna cut the song to make it shorter, because I rarely edit longer videos. We'll at least I didn't use to. Lately I have made a few longer edits.

Anyway, I started this back in march as I felt the need to pour my feelings out to somewhere. Then i continued this up until this day whenever I needed to vent or just wanted to work on it. This is probably the most personal edit I have done in a while. Hopefully some of you will enjoy it too.

Finally it's finished!!! Loved the game and wanted to make an edit out of it. The material turned out to be a rather diffucult to edit with, due to the very slow framerate. I sped up many of the clips to make it flow better. This is also very much out of my usual editing style, so it was a challenge. But I am quite pleased how it turned out in the end!

As I said from the last years video, this year would be a simple and easy to make.. well... me and "simple" doesn't quite work I have noticed. I always start to do more complicated stuff lol. So I tried out couple of things in this and wanted to make it looks much more personal than just using the footage as it is. Hopefully you like it! At least this time the song was a certain choice. And you can never go wrong with lis haha.. i hope.
And for the record even though I started this project 2.12, all I did was cut the music and chooce the footage. 90% was done in the last two days sooo.... Maybe next time I won't leave it this late. I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish it on the right day but luckily I were!
