I wrote this poem to coincide with the footage I took on our most recent trip to our family cabins in the Caribou of British Columbia about two weeks ago. The beginnings of this piece started rattling around in my head when I saw the pieces of wood, bones and rocks lined up on the porch railing, and it's been percolating ever since. I hope you enjoy this video, I had a lot of fun playing the footage over and over, reliving these special moments, and writing the poem to go along with it.
