Today I tried a Ring Pour using Liquitex Gloss Medium and This Little Piggy pigments! I don't think the results turned out too bad! I'm loving experimenting with the 'traditional' pouring techniques and taking a little break from blooms. Finding ways to incorporate the TLP pigments is always a fun experience and making them shimmer amongst the regular paint in these techniques.
Recipe:
Dispersing TLP Pigments
50% gloss gel + 50% water
Pouring medium
Liquitex Gloss Medium straight from the tub.
Add enough paint to get a colour closest to that from the tube. Remember that the pouring medium is white, so your paint may look a little dull at first but should dry to it's original bright colour.
