Welcome - in this special episode, Rachel shares her experience at the 2022 Winterthur Needlework Conference, "The Needle's I: Stitching Identity," going into detail on some of the behind-the-scenes tours and amazing lectures she experienced. Rachel and Sue discuss the sampler stitched by Sophie Bailly 1828, one of the conference's samplers on display, and its connection to Michigan, and ultimately (through further investigation) Rachel's own "backyard!" Hope you enjoy this episode!
