Today's collaboration was a challenge set by Taneva Baker. We were to use at least two colors in our base coat, and leave negative space. I decided to go the easy route and create a dutch pour. Using my favorite paints for this technique (detailed below), I was pretty happy with the results except for one corner, where I applied too much paint initially, which affected the blow out. Live and learn!

Today's colors were mixed two parts Floetrol to one half part paint. No water was added to the Liquitex paints. Colors used: Liquitex Basics Fluid paints in Black, White, Iridescent Graphite, Raw Sienna, Cad Yellow Medium, Vivid Red Orange and DecoArt Metallic Gold. I think I added water to the gold to bring it to the same consistency as the Liquitex paints.
