Turn any Windows 10 device into a 5.1 surround sound home cinema, or even 5.1 gaming machine, without needing to install an internal sound card.
I found very little information online on how to set this up, so went about making my own resource when I worked out the kinks.
----------------------------------------------------------
- Products for under £100 (when making the tutorial) -
Vantec External Sound Card: amzn.to/2QzUjJE
Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound: amzn.to/2ME4xY0
Digital Sound Level Meter (optional): amzn.to/37nmHFh
----------------------------------------------------------
Updated Driver website: vantecusa.com/search_dl.php?keyword=NBA-200U
5.1 Surround Sound Tester Download: mysurround.com/test/TestMySurround-en.dbr.wma
^I would recommend playing this through the software VLC (videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.en-GB.html)
Using the Digital Sound Level Meter
You should download the "Pink Noise" sound from this website and play it back through each of your speakers (one at a time, unplug them if you have to) and with the sound level meter held where the listener will be sitting, measure the loudness of each speaker and make sure they are the same. If not, you may need to move them around so that they give off the same amplitude of sound relative to the listener.

About the film:
Hannah Stanfields imagination distracts her from running, imagining a world made of paper.
Hannah has gotten a new coach, Jack Wilmot, replacing Jenny Murdoch who has now retired. Jack does not work with Hannahs imagination, unlike Jenny who used Hannahs imagination to help her sprint at her fastest.
We join Hannah and Jack the day before the races qualifying young runners for nationals, Jack and Hannah are both losing their patience with one another, leaving tensions high for tomorrows race.
Tearaway is a student made short film, gathing 30 students from three different societies, University of Sussex and Sussex Downs College together to learn techniques and create a short film all around deadline dates.
The past few months have been manic, but amazingly everything has seemed to come together!
I hope you enjoyed the film!
