Today, Goodwill stores in the area were having 50% off sales and I went with a friend to two different stores. I picked up items at each store for a total of under $20.
The lines were long, but it was worth it for the savings.
At 50% off, the tops/sweaters were $2.25 to 2.50, the children's clothing $1.25-$1.50, the candlestick was $2, and the small plate was 50 cents.
Usually, Goodwill stores have a 1/2 price sale once a month and most Holidays, but be sure to check out your own local thrift stores as you never know what you will find!
