Mayaca Vandelii is an awesome contrast plant in your aquarium.
THIS IS A MEGA EASY PLANT.
This plant is a fast grower once it gets settled in.
The small fine leaves would look great with a Ludwigia or another round leaf plant.
Mayaca Vandelli is a great plant for baby fish or fry.
We have kept this plant in unheated tanks that got down to as low as 50. (I can’t tell you how long it would live that cold.
You could even try this plant with Axolotls as it doesn’t need much light to grow and can take the cold.
I would rate the difficulty of this plant as a 2 or 3 out of 10.
If you give Mayacas a tad more light and a tiny bit of iron it will grown great for you and have a more lush green to it.
These plants have huge roots from us sitting on them for 2 weeks.
