Today I have more advice for new YouTubers with this video on 5 YouTube tips I wish I knew when starting my channel. There are many common mistakes YouTubers make, and my hope with this video is to help avoid these YouTube mistakes. Small YouTuber mistakes are pretty common just because the creator is still learning how YouTube works, and doesn’t know all the interesting tips and tricks to grow a channel yet.

Below are two of the mistakes new YouTubers make which I addressed in this video. These should give you a feel for what you can expect if you keep watching! Enjoy 😊

1. YouTubers often limit themselves with the type of content they can create on their channel. This is one of the most popular mistakes small YouTubers make because they don’t think they’ll end up growing their channel to higher levels of success. Because of that, they don’t plan accordingly, and just plan for the short-term. (I give a personal example of me making this YouTuber mistake, and also reference FaZe Clan in this tip because they did a great job with expanding out of the bubble they were in)

2. Some YouTubers don’t join communities of other content creators which is definitely one of those common YouTuber mistakes to avoid. Joining a community is a big YouTube tip for success because you can meet like minded people, find other YouTubers and streamers to collaborate with, and so much more!
