Disney theme parks are known as the "Happiest Place On Earth" where people can have fun alongside friends and family. This isn't always the case. On rare occasions, fun turns into tragedy in the matter of seconds.

In June of 1966, a 19 year old man tried to sneak into Disneyland by traveling on the monorail tracks. Security guards were yelling at him, not about sneaking into the park, but about the oncoming train. The 19 year old tried to avoid it but, it didn't work as he was hit and dragged 30 to 40 feet. One of the security guards later said he had to hose the kid off of the underside.

A two year old boy was swimming in the Seven Seas Lagoon on June 14th, 2016 at about 9:15pm when he was attacked be an alligator. The boy's body was found the following afternoon in the lagoon. A medical examiner determined the boy died from drowning and traumatic injuries. Disney stated that they would put out warning signs to attempt to keep this from happening again.

A 48 year old woman was killed when she was thrown from her sled on the Matterhorn in 1984 . After she was thrown from her sled, an oncoming sled hit her. She was pronounced dead on the scene. An investigation revealed that her seatbelt wasn't fastened. It is unclear whether it was never fastened in the first place or whether she undid it herself.

In 2003, a 22 year old man died of blunt force trauma and internal bleeding after one of the trains derailed on Big Thunder Mountain. The derailment injured 10 others, and the accident was caused be improper maintenance.

Deborah Stone was 18 years old when she became the hostess for a new ride called "America Sings". The ride feature multiple stages that rotated alongside a stationary audience seating area. After Stone ushered the new riders in, she stood too close to the stationary wall and the moving stage. A blood curdling scream is heard in the theater. Stone was dead before operators could stop the ride.
