i spent months watching videos of planner people flip through their journals, and i always had the desire to start. but i felt like i could never be a journaling girl.
i thought i wouldn’t have enough time, or that my life just wasn’t interesting enough to write about. one day i decided, why not give it a try? and I ended up falling in love with it.
for the first few months, my pages were simple. i used them to take notes, write to-do lists, and keep little memories from my days. now i’m in my second year of journaling, and it has added so much to my life instead of taking time away from it. i honestly can’t imagine going into a new year without one.
journaling doesn’t have to stay something you wish you could do. it can be yours too. starting is always the hardest part, but these are some of the tips that helped me get over the fear of the journaling unknown. i’m so glad i finally took that first step.
