Ohlala French Course | 5 Tips to Boost Your Confidence in Speaking French! 💪 @ohlalafrenchcourse | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 17 hours ago.
👉 I'm going to share with you the five tips I gave her. And I'm also going to give you some tips on how to be more confident speaking French.
🤗 Start small! Not seeing big, so at least setting the goal of having one French conversation a week, is already very good.
📄 Preprare yourself! Preparation is the key to self-confidence.
🤩 Visualize yourself! Visualize yourself successfully conversing in French. Imagine yourself speaking confidently in French, speaking fluently in French. This will help you feel more confident and condition your brain towards the positive. 🧠✨
🌍 Speak with non-natives speakers! I'd also recommend talking with non-native speakers, with students of French like yourself. It's much less stressful. There's less pressure because they're like you. They also make mistakes, so you'll be less scared. 🤗
🦵 🍑 Give yourself a big kick in the butt
Okay, I'm joking because the image is a bit violent, but it's the idea that you have to go for it. You've got to go for it. That's the hardest part of getting started. If you have a small dose of confidence to at least get started, then you'll be fine. It's 50% of the job to just get going, to at least try, as they say: When you gotta go, you gotta go. 💪
