In this video I go through the most important tips on how and when to charge and discharge DJI drone batteries. I also talk about battery storage and what are the optimal charging levels when storing your battery long term. This simple knowledge allowed me to reduce the battery cycles and extend longevity and optimal usage on my DJI Air 2S. Although I always recommend reviewing DJI user manual in this case it simply doesn't cover all aspects and best practices.
It might seem like DJI batteries are same as phone batteries but they are not. Some of them are called intelligent/smart batteries as they auto-discharge for safety reasons and it's important to know how to use them. Please check your model of drone and what type of batteries are recommended.
Never EVER buy third-party batterier or try to repair/fix DJI batteries; you will think it will save you money or give you extra capacity but the consequences of such purchase might end up with your drone crashing and causing danger to others. It will also automatically void your warranty. Stay safe!!
