Goldfish may be considered a “common” fish, but they’re on my bucket list for when I one day get a tank big enough for them. In the meanwhile, I’m trying to learn everything about them beforehand by talking to goldfish aficionados, like Emma from The Fish Crew. I’m lucky to live in a state with tons of local fish stores, so I wanted to show you one of the cleanest, most professional fish stores I’ve ever visited — The Fish Crew. They’re located in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is the northernmost major city in the state, so I don’t get to visit them very often, but it’s totally worth the trip. Since The Fish Crew was started by a group of friends who used to manage another pet store, they have the experience to combine the modern look of a mainstream pet store with the quirkiness and charm of a mom-and-pop store. Huge thanks to Emma from The Fish Crew for allowing me to interview her and to my editor Matt for using some of his precious vacation time to film this tour!
