The Surron Ultra Bee Black Edition is an incredible eMoto — but it’s far from perfect. In this video, I go over the five things I hate about the Surron Ultra Bee Black Edition, and what I did to fix them. From mismatched plastics to disappointing range, here’s my honest take after owning and riding this bike for a while.
I cover:
1️⃣ The white plastics that ruin the all-black look of the Ultra Bee — even though it’s meant to be a “Black Edition”!
2️⃣ The random motor cover colour that doesn’t match the rest of the bike.
3️⃣ The underwhelming power and range considering the massive battery size.
4️⃣ The cheap stock foot pegs that really let the build quality down.
5️⃣ The ugly number plate holder that sticks out too far and ruins the sleek rear end.
I’ve made several Surron modifications to fix these issues — from painting the white plastics and motor cover black, to adding a tail tidy for a cleaner, stealthier look.
