A platformer game is an excellent genre to start with game development. They help you understand topics like physics, input handling, level design, the programming language... everything you need to get started with an engine like Godot Engine for instance.

In this video I'll show you that we can break down a Platformer game into 5 features and with them, you can start designing levels and more challenges for your player reusing their logic.
