5 SLOW COOKER MEALS FOR UNDER £25 FROM ALDI | Autumn 2023 Dump & Go Slow Cooker Meals | Budget Meals
In this video I made 5 dump and go, budget friendly slow cooker (crockpot) meals, all from Aldi for under £25. Each meal feeds a family of 4+ (some meals feed up to 8!!). Budget friendly Aldi meals for family, using healthy ingredients and groceries. Shopping/Grocery haul list below!

Slow cooker dump and go meals listed below:
Satay Chicken
*Ingredients:*
- 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs (thighs are cheaper)
- 1 heaped Tbsp smooth peanut butter, 1 heaped Tbsp crunchy whole peanut butter (or 2 of one)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1-2 Limes (juiced)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (or 1 teaspoon dried ginger)
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to your desired heat level)
- 400ml chicken stock (add Moore hot water if required through cooking)
- Chopped fresh spring onion for garnish
- Chopped peanuts for garnish (optional)
Autumn Harvest Chicken Casserole
- Boneless chicken thighs (3 or 4)
- 1 cup of rice (if using white rice, put in the slow cooker one hour before serving, if using wild/brown, place in the cooker at the start with the other ingredients)
- Carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 white onions, sliced
- Handful of mushrooms, washed and sliced
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- 3 - 4 crushed garlic cloves
- 750ml chicken stock
- Mixed herbs
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Slow Cooker Pork Sausage Casserole
*Ingredients:*
- 6 sausages, browned and cut into chunks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil/butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 300ml chicken stock
- 1 tin plum tomatoes
- 2 celery sticks
- 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped
- 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
- Thyme
- Rosemary
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 beef stock cube
Sweet Potato & Black Bean Chilli
- 2-3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubes
- 1 tin of drained and rinsed black beans
- 1 tin of plum tomatoes
- 1 large white onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400ml veg or chicken stock
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Olive oil
Serve with rice, grated cheese, guac and sour cream!
Slow Cooker Chicken Curry
- 4 - 6 chicken thigh fillets
- 1 - 2 white onions
- Freshly grated ginger
- 3 heaped tbsp of Aldi Medium curry powder
- 350ml chicken stock
- 1/2 a pot of double (or single!) cream, to add just before serving
