A quick look at the top five Sega Dreamcast games that can be considered true hidden gems from a statistical standpoint (very low sales, high critical review scores, and a lack of high-view YouTube exposure).
Notes:
Accurate video game sales numbers (for both consoles and individual games) are notoriously difficult to come across. The software sales for this analysis come from an unofficial source and cannot be completely verified. However, in comparing some of the numbers with other data sources, I believe the figures are within an acceptable range of actuals. While some numbers vary by source, I also believe that the ratios between games hold steady (and thus serve the purposes of my statistical analysis).
