A woman in Millburn, New Jersey was watching the television with her children when a large man broke down the back door, and started beating her senselessly. Even to the point where she almost passes out. The man left to go upstairs when the mother gained enough strength to provoke him again. When he came down from the upstairs, he kicked her, dragged her, and threw her down to her basement. Luckily, a nanny cam caught the entire thing. The man was caught and charged with attempted first degree murder, robbery, and endangerment to a child. The mother suffered a concussion, and many cuts and bruises. She stated that she didn't scream to protect her daughter, as screaming would make her more scared. She also thought of the possibility that if her daughter screamed, he would start attacking her as well.

In 2007, A surveillance camera in Malaysia caught a man on a motorbike dropping off a gym bag. The contents of the bag was the remains of an 8 year old girl by the name of Nurin Jazlin Binti Jazmin. Jazmin was reported missing after she was sent to he local market. Witnesses said that she seemed to have been forced into a white van. Police stated that due to the condition of the body, Jazmin was more than likely kept alive and tortured before killed by strangulation. The man in the video was never identified, and so far, no one has been charged.

Avonte Oquendo was a 13 year old autistic boy. He escaped his Queens, New York school before going missing for 3 months when he was found dead in the east river. Surveillance video shows an employee of the school leaving through a door, however, it doesn't shut all the way. About 30 minutes later is when Avonte saw the opportunity and escaped. This is the last moment Avonte was seen alive.

Kendrick Johnson's body was found wrapped head first in a wrestling mat on January 11th, 2013. The autopsy report stated that his death was accidental as he suffocated inside of the mat while trying to retrieve a shoe. His family said otherwise. They had a pathologist investigate, and they said his death was caused by blunt force trauma. There were also newspapers stuffed along with Johnson's body. The surveillance footage also seemed to have been tampered with as there was about 3 hours of footage missing.

Amy Joan Marie Fry Pitzen is seen walking with her son, Timothy, checking into a Wisconsin hotel. Amy was found later dead along with her son being missing. Amy had self inflicted cuts on her wrists. There was a suicide note by her body that was addressed to her husband, Jim, Stating "You'll never find him". It also said that she couldn't take the chance of Jim hurting him because of her choices, so she took him somewhere safe".
