In this step-by-step tutorial, you will learn how to connect and set up the 5" Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 with the Raspberry Pi 5 single-board computer. We will show you how to power the display directly from the 5V power rail on the Raspberry Pi 5 and boot it using a microSD card loaded with Raspberry Pi OS. The display features a 720ร—1280 resolution and an 80ยฐ viewing angle, offering a crisp and responsive visual experience. By default, it runs in portrait mode out of the box, but we will also demonstrate how to rotate it to landscape orientation easily. I reviewed the other 7" version of Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 in a previous video.
