Our travel tips for passengers using this brand-new screening point:
✅ Leave laptops and aerosols in your bag.
✅ The trays are bigger, so we recommend placing ALL loose items like sunnies and boarding passes in your bag or in the tray UNDER your bag.
✅ Make sure EVERYTHING is out of your pockets like tissues and keys and that all extra accessories like belts, badges and puffy jackets also needs to go into the tray before going through the body scanner.
🚧 And in a Christmas miracle for our remaining passengers, work is well advanced on construction of a new mezzanine level in the centre of the Domestic Terminal, which will deliver 10 lanes of security screening plus direct entry from the Skywalk. This new screening point is expected to open just before Christmas. 🎁
