Having already experienced the all new Mint business class seats on the JetBlue A321neo, I thought it might be fun to see what basic economy class is like on the exact same flight (B6424 from LAX to JFK).
The fact that I had an entire row of seats to myself on this 5 hour flight across the country probably made it seem better than it was (I know). But even the flight was full and I was crammed deep into the seat I had reserved (24A), I’m confident that I would have still really enjoyed this.
The snacks were unlimited, the entertainment was top notch, and the seats themselves were perfectly fine for a long flight from Los Angeles to New York.
