5 Killed Outside Forest Grove — Investigators Reveal the Timeline
Authorities have now laid out what they believe happened at a rural property outside Forest Grove, Oregon, where five people were found shot to death following a vehicle fire on August 22, 2026.
The victims were identified as Stella Kimsey, Rowan Kimsey, Mary Kimsey, Linsey Mae Haraldsen, and Alvin Raymond Chu. Investigators identified Benjamin Parker, Stella Kimsey's boyfriend, as the suspect.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, investigators believe Stella was killed first, followed by Rowan when she went to check on her daughter. Linsey later came to the property looking for them, and Mary and Alvin subsequently arrived after becoming concerned when they could not reach the others. Investigators believe all five were shot with a .22-caliber firearm.
Authorities say phone-location evidence showed Parker leaving the property at approximately 4:42 a.m. He later allegedly confessed during a phone call with his mother, telling her the killings had been planned and that he originally intended to kill three people but two additional people were killed. Parker was later found dead in his truck in Washington from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Who Killed Terry & Julie Dade?
Then we go back to January 21, 1970, and the still-unsolved murders of newlyweds Terry and Julie Dade in Junction City, Oregon.
Terry was only 19 and Julie was 20. They had been married about fifteen months and had a one-year-old son.
Investigators believe someone came to their apartment during the early morning hours. Terry was killed inside while Julie was abducted. Witnesses later reported seeing a woman believed to be Julie trying to escape from a man before he forced her back into a white station wagon.
Minutes later, another station wagon was discovered burning near Highway 99 and Prairie Road. Julie was found beneath the vehicle and investigators determined she had been killed before the fire was started.
Despite witnesses, an extensive search for the suspect and years of investigation, the murders of Terry and Julie Dade remain unsolved more than five decades later.
We'll examine the timeline, witness accounts, the mysterious second white station wagon, the people investigators later considered, and the evidence that modern DNA testing may still be able to unlock.
