In the original JP version of this game, there was never a hot dog item. They had this Tempura Soba item instead but I guess it was deemed too Japanese for western audiences and was changed to a hot dog when the game came out in America. After I started the 5 hotdog run, the JP started doing the JP equivalent which is to get 5 Tempura Soba and they called it "5 Japanese Hotdogs." I thought that this would be a fun run to try to get as low as possible without grinding for the Castle Hall event like how I did in the original 5 hotdogs run.
