Since its launch in 2005, Google Earth has made exploring the globe more accessible than ever, allowing anyone to navigate the world virtually. However, as the tool has evolved over the years, some of its features can feel intrusive, particularly due to the detailed images of homes and neighbourhoods.
From a legal standpoint, these images do not constitute an invasion of privacy, as they are captured from public airspace or streets where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. Nevertheless, certain images have emerged that were never intended for public view.
