All Christians should exhibit the fruit of God's Spirit dwelling richly in them. But the gifts of God's Spirit are given by Him, as He wills, at His discretion, for His specific purpose - and these cannot be claimed, owned, imparted, or initiated by men . . . they are "gifts".
