These are my favourite snack to have on hand! They are great to bring hiking, on the go or just to satisfy that sweet craving at home.

Lemon Ginger Energy Balls
1 cup roasted (unsalted) almonds
1 cup medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup candied ginger, chopped
zest of 1 lemon
juice from 1 lemonÂ
1/2 cup rolled oatsÂ
Directions:
1. Blend almonds on high in a food processor until they are finely chopped.Â
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend together until a ball of dough forms.Â
3. Remove dough from the food processor and roll into balls (makes approx 12 balls depending on size). Put in a sealed container and keep in fridge or freezer.Â
Optional: Roll in coconut flakesÂ
Cherry and Cacao nib Energy balls
1 cup cashewsÂ
1 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup cacao nibs
2 tbsp maple syrupÂ
Directions:
1. Blend cashews on high in a food processor until they are finely chopped.Â
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend together well.
3. Remove dough from the food processor and roll into balls (makes approx 12 balls depending on size). Put in a sealed container and keep in fridge or freezer.Â
Optional: Roll in cocoa powder
Peanut butter chocolate energy balls
1 cup rolled oatsÂ
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrupÂ
1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips (or cacao nibs)Â
Optional: pinch of saltÂ
1-2 tbsp of water might be neededÂ
Directions:
1. Blend rolled oats on high in a food processor until they are finely chopped.Â
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend together well.
3. Remove dough from the food processor and roll into balls (makes approx 12 balls depending on size). Put in a sealed container and keep in fridge or freezer.Â
Optional: Roll in coconut flakes or cocoa powderÂ
Cranberry Tahini Energy Balls

1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberriesÂ
1/3 cup tahiniÂ
1/4 cup maple syrupÂ
1 tsp cinnamonÂ
Directions:
1. Blend almonds on high in a food processor until they are finely chopped.Â
2. Add rest of the ingredients and blend together until a ball of dough forms.Â
3. Remove dough from the food processor and roll into balls (makes approx 12 balls depending on size). Put in a sealed container and keep in fridge or freezer.Â
Optional: Roll in sesame seeds
Carrot Cake Energy Balls
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup (1 large) shredded carrotÂ
1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted
1/2 cup walnutsÂ
2 tsp cinnamonÂ
Directions:
1. Blend rolled oats on high in a food processor until they are finely chopped.Â
2. Using your food processor's grater attachment or a regular grater, grate carrots.Â
3. Add grated carrot and the rest of your ingredients to the food processor and blend together well.
3. Remove dough from food processor and roll into balls (makes approx 12 balls depending on size). Put in a sealed container and keep in fridge or freezer.Â
Optional: Roll in coconut flakesÂ
