Hi friends!
Today I’m sharing these really fun Staircase Cards, and they’re such a great way to use up your scrap paper and patterned paper pieces! These cards may look complicated at first glance, but they’re actually very easy to make once you see how they come together.
In this video, I’ll walk you through the basic staircase card design step-by-step, plus I’ll share 5 different card ideas to inspire you using a variety of themes, colours, and papers.
These are perfect for:
• Using up scraps
• Showing off patterned paper
• Mass producing cards
• Using supplies from your stash
• Birthday cards, Christmas cards, happy mail & more!
✨ CARD MEASUREMENTS:
Finished card size:
5.5" x 4.25"
You will need:
• 2 pieces of cardstock measuring 5.25" x 8.25"
Score along the 8.25" side at:
• 1 3/8"
• 2 3/4"
• 4 1/8"
• 5.5"
• 6 7/8"
Inside squares:
• 1.25" x 1.25"
Most of the products I used today are simply supplies from my craft room stash, which makes these cards even more fun to create!
