This is all about how to improve your type skills, so I wanted to share some exercises that you can do, whether you're a beginner or advanced designer, to practice your typography and hand lettering. These are great creative exercises that will challenge your mind and get you doing. Type and letters are such a fundamental part and my personal favourite in graphic design, and it's important to know everything from the anatomy of type, to how to let loose and get better as a graphic designer! We draw letters on grid paper, do quick charettes that challenge you, and study the anatomy of type. I hope these help you as much as they help me xx
