I'm suggesting is that if you use currency on an item, the rolls should follow a random seed value trajectory of rolls until an eternal orb is used. Unless the game has been reprogrammed, if someone can force crash an instance, they'll still have access to the rollback crafting method. Because the outcome is effectively impossible to determine it doesn't matter if a global or local random seed is used. Like dealing from a deck of cards, if you don't like the card you get, you can't just put it back on the top of the deck and draw a different card from the top of the deck.
