We explore 5 concepts for getting creative and inspiring sounds out of your reverbs: everything from cinematic, larger-than-life washes to apocalyptic, sci-fi reverb effects.

In this mixing tutorial, we deploy sound design techniques by chaining flangers, stereo imagers, delays and distortion units before and after reverb to completely warp pristine reverb tails into really useful effects. Enjoy!

You know, you didnt have to get one. At all. Out of all the people who could have been but just arent, its you who gets your life. No one else does. And every second is a splintering fractal of possibilities. Totally unique to your personal existence. And you get to choose from among them like some infinite bazaar of potential realities. You see, youre sculpting the very fabric of the universe as you live. Carving into it with your choices. And nothing around you now or forever afterwards will be the same because you were here. And this unimaginable influence you get to direct with the flow of your life, this awesome power, the most precious of gifts, the keys to infinity: just bestowed upon you. For free. And you can choose to float around, carried like a leaf on the wind, or you can be prodded and herded by those who would yoke your life. Or you can draw a map, and follow it by the light of the stars, and when theyre shrouded under the canopy of the jungle, by torchlight, until that sputters down to a glowing ember, and hushes to a cold hunk of char, then you can cut through the vines and underbrush, guided by something in the back of your mind that says, theres something important here. And so you keep driving, deeper and deeper into the jungle. To a place only you know exists. No one else can find it. No one else can see it. Because its your vision; and it cant be found. Because youre not discovering what is; youre creating what will be. Ah, do you see what I mean? All of this possibility: the adventure, the beauty, everyone you love, everyone you lose, the blissful radiance under the sun, the exquisite inky sorrow swirling in your veins. All of it. For the taking. For free. So, what are you going to do with it, this life youve been given?$
