The Hair Oil is the newest launch; lightweight and non-greasy it adds a lovely finishing shine and is great used before heat styling. I also use the Hair Balm a lot if I’m just letting my hair dry naturally, but honestly, with the New Wash I can just leave my hair to dry and it looks pretty great.
Have a read of the website and some of the testimonials - I’d be so interested to know how it works for other hair types. I have fine hair but lots of it and it’s quite dry because it’s bleached.
OK, next “thing that does things differently”: the Fragrance Paintbrush from Jo Loves. Ignore the fact that Pink Vetiver is one of the best scents ever produced, the paintbrush is really convenient for applying perfume when you’re on the commute or travelling and don’t want to fumigate everyone around you. I am a SERIOUS convert to the Amanda Harrington method of applying fake tan. Using huge buffing brushes and a tan mist, you create these really fine layers of colour that you can build up in certain areas to contour and shape the face and body. Tri Balm by Frances Prescott is a gorgeous, moisturising and exfoliating cleansing balm but it’s in a stick and not a pot! I know that’s not mind-blowingly revolutionary but it’s pretty unusual and actually, I quite like it. It’s handy for travel and I use a lot less product than if I use a balm in a pot, which is handy because this isn’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination! I just slick a little on and massage it in and if I leave it for a while to let the enzymatic exfoliants get to work then it feels great because it’s so moisturising. Multi-tasking luxury! Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is an ultra rich body moisturiser with a difference. You step straight out of the shower and apply it to totally wet skin. Sounds mad, but it really works and it takes just seconds to splosh it all over rather than laboriously massaging in a body cream. I love it as a time saver! I don’t like some of the versions but the Ultra Rich smells really nice and has shea and cocoa butters in the formula. Find it online here*: bit.ly/37VOeUz
