Amazon Lightweight Backpacking Tarp Long Term Review Vincent Gilligan 2020-04-12 | There are plenty of cheap, budget-friendly Tarps on Amazon. But are they worth buying? Whether you're building a Tarp Tent, Tarp Shelter, need a Backpacking Tarp or just want a lightweight Camping Tarp. Amazon has lots to chose from. Years ago, I pulled the trigger on a lightweight, Silnylon Tarp I found online. It's been through some pretty wild storms and fantastic adventures. Needless to say, it was money well spent.The tarps here are 10'x10' (300cm x 300cm) made by Bluefield and weigh around 1.4lbs (640g)You'll notice that on the greenish-yellow tarp I have added tie-off points to the middle. Not necessary and in honesty, I haven't used them once. Also, this is my first time using my new Microphone and Digital Audio Interface from Focusrite (2i2 Studio bundle).
