Manual throttle is better than supercruise assist princess nova 2021-12-26 | Yeah, no.Turn subtitles on for an explanation, or look below.Supercruise Assist has this wacky little quirk where it completely bypasses the maximum drop speed limit, so you approach at maximum throttle, engage assist at the last second, and drop out nice and easy, taking 0 damage, whilst being well over the speed limit.1. Set it to manual throttle mode.2. Set a keybind for 50% throttle. (I use C on keyboard, X on controller)3. Lock destination and engage Supercruise Assist.4. Set your throttle to maximum, it'll complain that your throttle has to be in the blue zone, ignore it.4. When it gets down to around 2-4 seconds, hit your 50% keybind, Assist will take the wheel shortly and drop you out exactly like any other safe disengage, just faster.
