Bluestar ~★Buy The Stars★~ Complete MAP PepsiGum 2018-08-25 | It’s here!After a little over five months of hard work, drop outs, and amazing art, the long awaited Buy The Stars MAP is finally completed! This has been quite a ride, and I thought King, which took two and a half months, was bad enough.Believe it or not, this MAP was almost cancelled, due to the apparent lack of interest of all the participants that hadn’t gotten their parts in by the original due date, June 5. This got me discouraged, but when I hinted that I was going to cancel the MAP, a lot of people protested and wanted to see it completed. So, I changed the due date to June 15, and when this date arrived a lot of people had gotten their parts done, and others asked for extensions. Some didn’t answer at all, and my several backups came in really handy. In the past couple months, BTS has become the most viewed and liked video and my channel, which inspired me to keep going!A special thanks to all my backups and friends who volunteered to take on parts of others who were unable to finish them. It’ll help you understand my situation.Over here, in Canada, the bleak weather is making everyone a little reminiscent of spring, so I thought I’d make a little speed-paint. I hope you like it! Little do you know, this wasn’t just made for YouTube, though. Recently, I’ve made an Instagram account solely dedicated to my art! On this account I usually make little comics about everyday life, and occasionally step by step processes, speed-draws, and independent artworks. I advertise it on my main account, so my art account is mainly followed by my school mates, and it has nothing to do with the old YouTube Instagram account which I deleted, pepsigum_It’s where I put in most of my inspiration these days, hence the reason for my lack of uploading. I love making these comics! Recently, I’ve also lost a big chunk of my interest in Warrior Cats, and am not feeling as inclined to finish reading the series as I was before. Additionally, as my hardcore fans that are on Pepsi Gum Amino will know, I’ve gone into high school this year. I’ve been going through a bunch of friend drama, boy trouble, a pretty serious might-be-going-places crush, and a shit ton of school work and tests. I’m also a pretty good student, so I have my teachers’ and my parents’ exceptions on my shoulders. I’m having less and less time to dedicate to my more serious projects on YouTube, and even finishing a MAP part is a major struggle for me! I’ve been trying to blame this lack of content on art block, but I’ve pieced together that it’s just the fact that my inspiration for Pepsi Gum is missing. Instead, I’ve been working on a book and making my comics, and it’s what’s keeping me sane! I feel that it’s a good call to call quits, just for the time being. Forcing myself to spit out trash content just for the sake of making it isn’t healthy for me, and unsatisfying for you guys. My subscribers subscribed for good art, not random updates and unfinished art. If I do this, it’ll be an enormous weight lifted off my chest, and it’ll give me more freedom to focus on what I’m inspired to do at the moment, namely my comics and my book, as well as school and my social life. Even though I’m willingly taking this break, it also pains me. I had a whole lot of amazing projects planned for you! If/when I come back, my time away from YouTube will have given me a lot of time to think about new and improved ideas for you all, so I’ll have awesome things coming your way. After a couple days of uploading this, I’ll log out of Pepsi Gum and use my personal account to browse YouTube, so I won’t be able to see your comments and support. I’ll occasionally check Amino, but I can’t really make any promises. But, there’s still one way to see my art and message me. If you want, you can go check out my art account on Instagram. The backstory is too long, but in this part, Mittens (the stripy she-cat, discovers that Moon (the white one) tore off his collar because he doesn’t want to be reminded of his abusive owner. He pretends to be surprised, but she doesn’t believe him. She gets angry and accuses him of taking it off because he wants to impress a she-cat (Gingertail), and she is a Clan cat. BUT the good news is that I had time to do this! I used good ol’ FlipaClip, which isn’t as impossible to use as people say it is, and I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to use AnimationCreatorHD. Anyway, I hope it’s fine, Melolemon!
