NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A… [CarmenRider] sparrow 2024-05-24 | (Edit: 05/27/2024)Since apparently this wasn’t known, I guess, before I get more comments about it, I don’t associate with the SCC anymore. The script was done around February, before I left. I didn’t have enough time or patience to completely rearrange the video to reflect this, and I recognize that might be an issue for some. However, I do hope y’all can at least overall find quality in the handling of this situation and still come out with the understanding that the accusations levied are false! Because they are.That’s it for now.________________________I have a few notes that I want to be seen. Initially, I was going to include this in a preliminary section, and then in a post-commentary section, but I chose to include it here instead.First of all, the video is definitely different from the script. I noticed a few issues I wanted to iron out from it, and so I used this video to do so. Don’t worry, the script will still remain publicly available, I recognize my original work had errors and I am working on being more cognizant in the future.Secondarily, hi. I’m Sparrow. I use they/xe pronouns now (I prefer they/them though). I do not use she/her or he/him at all. I say this not to claim transphobia on Carmen’s part, but because it bothered me that she misgendered me in her other videos in regards to me, and I thought I would mention it more explicitly here.Third, and a very minor thing. Around the 27 minute mark, a song that I used from Madoka Magica caused the video to be struck down by copyright upon upload. Because of this, there’s text with the song I initially used, but pls ignore it!! I was going to go back and take it out, but I’ve had to rerender this video a total of 7 times, 3 of which didn’t actually work. I’m tired and want to just get this out there. I also initially didn’t know which song it was that caused the copyright issue, so I panicked and replaced a lot of the initial music I had used.
